Heute morgen habe ich wie immer dafür gedankt, dass ich irgendwo auf der Welt in einem Bett liege, dass ich willkommen bin an diesem Ort, am Morgen eine Toilette benutzen und eine Dusche nehmen kann.
Diese Dankbarkeit Wasser für zwei elementare Grundbedürfnisse nutzen zu können, begleitete mich bereits vor unserer Pilgerschaft in die Gesellschaft.

Die Gründe dankbar zu sein, nehmen zu. ...

Like every morning today I thanked, that I lie in a bed somewhere on this planet, that I am welcome at this place, have the opportunity to use a toilet and can take a shower.
Being able to use water for two such fundamental basic needs, involves a gratefulness for me, that I knew even before we broke up on our pilgrimage into society.

Ich lache gerne über mich selber und auch über die Wehen im eigenen Werden. Hier ein schöner Text aus der WOZ zum Thema Spiritualität:
"Hopfenbauer knickte am dritten Tag der Selbstfindungswoche, zu der er sich nach langem Zögern angemeldet hatte, spektakulär ein. Nicht dass er an der Gültigkeit der vermittelten Botschaften gezweifelt hätte, insbesondere jene vom Loslassen und Geringschätzen des Materiellen hatte er schon beim Einzahlen des sein Budget sprengenden Kursbeitrags vorbildlich umgesetzt.

Auch waren es keine unterdrückten Emotionen oder verdrängten Erlebnisse, die ihn überwältigten. Ihm war ganz einfach während der tiefen Dankbarkeitsmeditation der linke Fuss eingeschlafen, und als er sich auf diesen zu stellen versuchte, fiel er ungebremst in den Buddhakopf, der zu seinem Glück nicht aus Zement, sondern aus Kunstharz gefertigt war."

I love to laugh about myself and even about the labour pains of my coming-into-being. This is a beautiful text about spirituality from the Swiss paper WOZ:
'After the third day of the self-discovery week, to which he had signed in only after long hesitation, Hopfarmer caved in dramatically. Not that he would have doubted the significance of the teached messages, ecspecially the one of letting loose and ignoring the tangibles he had implemented already, when paying the class costs, which blew his budget.

There were neither surpressed emotions nor displaced experiences, which overwhelmed him. It was just, that his left foot had fallen asleep during the gratefulness meditation, and when he tried to step up on it, he plummet into the head of the Buddha, which wasn't made of concrete, but for his luck of synthetic resin.'

Beim Spazieren durch Chigasaki sind mir viele neue und alte, meist recht spezielle Räder aufgefallen. Die Leute fahren gerne Rad und lieben ihre Räder.

"Das Jahrhundert des Fahrrads" ist der Name, der dazu passenden kleinen aber feinen Ausstellung im Chigasaki Museum of Art. Der Untertitel der Ausstellung listet in Essenz auf, was Räder uns bieten: RAD=LEBEN+DESIGN+ÖKOLOGIE

Surfing Japan With The Help Of Yashio

Wir planen unsere verbleibende Zeit in Japan: Treffen mit engagierten Gruppen oder Organisationen und unsere "Grünen Gedanken" an verschiedenen Orten ... Die Resonanz, Angebote zu Übernachten und Hilfe der Japaner sind sehr gross, wir sind völlig überwältigt ... Und sagen schon einmal allen "Domo Arrigato!", besonders Yashio ohne dessen Hilfe wir das nicht geschafft hätten.

Leider können wir nicht jedes Angebot annehmen. Das hat ganz verschiedene Gründe: Sesto geht an Krücken, ich muss unsere beiden Rucksäcke tragen, wenn wir von einem Ort zum anderen reisen. Viele Reisestrecken innerhalb von Japan sind für uns zu lang. Mittlerweile sitzen wir sehr viel und das geht in den Rücken. Unser kleines Pilgerbudget lässt zudem keine hohen Reisekosten zu. Wir sind keine Touristen auf Sight-Seeing-Tour, sondern wollen mit Menschen leben, kollaborieren und Dialoge über die wichtigen Themen der heutigen Welt führen, um diese Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse an anderen Orten und online zu teilen. Alle unter euch, die wir nicht treffen können, bitten wir von Herzen um Verständnis!

We are planning the remaining time in Japan -- with activists groups or organizations and our 'Green Thoughts' at several places ...

The resonance, the offers to host us and the help of the Japanese people are great, we are overwhelmed ... And say 'Domo Arrigato!' already, ecspecially to Yashio without whose help we couldn't have managed all this.

It is a pitty we can not accept every offer. The reasons for this are various: Sesto is on crutches, I have to carry our two Rucksack when we change places. Many distances to travel in Japan are to long for us. Meanwhile we sit a lot and this affects the back. Our small pilgrim budget doesn't allow big travel expenses too. We are no tourists on sight seeing tour, much more we want to live with people, collaborate and be in dialogues about the pressing questions of our todays world, to bring these experiences and insights to new places and to share them online. Everybody of you, we can't meet in person, we apologize deeply from our hearts for any inconvenience.

Am 2. Mai 2017 haben sich mit uns 23 Menschen zu einem Visionstag in Schloss Glarisegg getroffen. Sesto hatte mit Jolanthe und Stefan die Idee einer Zukunftsgenossenschaft, die mit ihren Potenzialen im Fokus des Tages stand. Ich habe den Tag konzipiert und moderiert. Eine wahre Freude! Wundervolle Menschen! Und ein enormes Potential!!!

On May 2nd 2017 we met with 23 people for a Vision Day at Schloss Glarisegg, Switzerland. Sesto, Stefan and Jolanthe had the idea of a Future Cooperative, which potentials were in the focus of the day.

Liebe Freunde und Weggefährten,

Bald werden Sesto und ich in Japan sein. Wir sind zur Teilnahme an dem zweiten Jahrestag der Fuji Declaration am 14. Mai 2017 eingeladen.

Die Fuji Declaration wurde in Japan und Dänemark 2015 gegründet und Sesto war einer der ersten Unterstützer in Europa. Die Feierlichkeiten haben die Gründungsprinzipien der Fuji Declaration und ihrer "Ableger"-Initiative Soul of Woman im Fokus, die eine kritische Masse für eine soziale Transformtion befördern sollen.
Manche von euch werden sich erinnern, dass wir in 2016 bereits bei der europäischen Initiierung von Soul of Woman in Schottland gesprochen haben.

Soon Sesto and me will be in Japan. We are invited to take part in the second anniversary of the Fuji Declaration on May 14, 2017.

The Fuji Declaration was inaugurated in 2015 in Japan and Denmark and Sesto was one of it's first promoters in Europe.

The celebration event will highlight founding principles of the Fuji Declaration and its offshoot initiative, Soul of Women, to foster a critical mass for social transformation.
Maybe some of you remind us talking on the European inauguration of Soul of Woman in Scotland in 2016.

Das Wollschwein unserer Nachbarn | The woolly pig of our neighbours | 2010

Vor ein paar Tagen am 22. April wurde in aller Welt gefeiert: der "Internationale Tag der Erde". Was meinst du, wie Mutter Erde sich dabei gefühlt hat? Und wenn interessiert das, ist ja schon wieder vorbei?! Ist das nicht komisch? Immerhin, einmal im Jahr denken wir an unsere Liebsten. Vielleicht mit ein Grund, warum Menschen, die sich unter dem Jahr nicht genug wertgeschätzt oder geliebt fühlen, nicht selten ihren Geburtstag übergehen oder sogar hassen.

Angefangen mit Muttertag, habe ich nicht besonders viel übrig für diese internationalen Tage - von denen manche wie eine Erfindung der globalen Verkaufsindustrie wirken - und nehme doch das öffentliche Interesse wahr, das sie für dringende Themen wie den Umweltschutz, im Falle des "Internationalen Tags der Erde", wecken.
Es ist einfach so, dass ich glaube unsere tägliche Einstellung den Dingen gegenüber, ist die grösste Kraft, um den Wandel zu bewirken. Wenn wir diese Hürde genommen haben, können wir uns für weitere Schritte mit anderen zusammen tun, und auch andere zum Handeln auffordern.

Vor einigen Wochen hat unser Freund Victor uns ein paar Fragen zu unserer Pilgerschaft gestellt, eine lautete: "Was für eine Beziehung habt ihr zur Natur?". Anstatt weiterer Gedanken zu (B)Earth Day(s) möchte ich gerne meine Antwort an Victor mit euch teilen. ...

What do you think Mother Earth feels about 'International Earth Day', which has been celebrated a few days ago 22nd of April all over the world? But who cares, it's already over?! At least one time of the year we think of our beloved ones. Sounds funny, doesn't it? Maybe that's why people which don't feel appreciated or loved enough throughout the year tend to avoid or even hate their birthdays.

Although I don't like those international Days starting with Mothers Day, very much--some of them seem like an invention of the global selling industry--I recognize the public interest they rise to urgent topics like in the case of Earth Day and many others.

It is just that I believe that our daily attitude towards something is the most powerful force to bring about change. When we have managed this, we can align with others for further steps and call others to action too.

Some weeks ago our friend Victor asked us some questions about our pilgrimage, of which one was 'What is your relation to Nature?'. Instead of more thoughts about (B)Earth Day(s), I would like to share my answer to Victor with you. ...

Sesto und ich haben uns für Kosmos gegenseitig ein paar Fragen gestellt, um unsere Pilgerschaft in die Gesellschaft, bis dato, zu reflektieren.
In der Vorschau auf die Frühjahrs-/Sommer-Ausgabe, die am 2.ten Mai erscheint, schreibt Nancy Roof, die Gründerin des Kosmos Journals:

Gestern Nachmittag, vier Stunden spannendes Kennenlernen. Stefan, seine Frau Paula und Jolanthe besuchen uns. Sesto hat Stefan letztes Jahr das erste Mal getroffen. Für mich sind alle drei Gesichter neu.

Im Gespräch stellen wir fest, dass wir eine ziemlich bunte Mischung sind. Stefan ist als Deutscher in die Schweiz gezogen, mit ihm seine Frau Paula, die aus Rumänien stammt. Jolanthe mit polnisch, deutschen Wurzeln lebt seit 2008 in der Schweiz. ...

Four hours of exciting getting to know yesterday afternoon. Stefan, his wife Paula and Jolanthe are visiting us. Sesto has met Stefan for the first time last year. I see three new faces.

During our talk we realize that we are quite a potpourri. Stefan the German moved to Switzerland with his wife Paula, who is from Rumania originally. Jolanthe with polish-german roots lives in Switzerland since 2008. ...
