From Scotland to Iceland and back

The last four days our AGA Stove at the place where we are staying was "kaput". Today an engineer could fix it. Just a small fuse that had to be exchanged. Hopefully we are having a warm home again, when the AGA has heated up till tonight.

To get some things done on the internet we have recently been to Dumfries sometimes with the bus. A friendly small town, which is the biggest of the region Dumfries and Galloway. Scotlands Poet Robert Burns was living here until his death.

Impressingly Friendly

Shortly after our arrival in Scotland in the beginning of September a friend asked if we already had seen Loch Ness. To be true -- we even hadn't thought of it, as we do not plan but mostly follow intuition and peoples invitation. Now finally it happened, a little bit unexpected in a bathroom in Moniaive, we saw Nessie. Impressingly friendly, like all the Scots.

As you might have realized news have gotten somewhat seldom. We enjoy a beautifull stay at a place where we have no, really no, digital signal. Todays we are "in town" to do some shopping and using wifi in the cafe.

Trying to find our way in this enterprise, Sesto and me are in since February, we are walking the fine line between trusting our calling and making decissions that lead in a certain direction. As far we are guided well. We don't worry about missing a chance or making a wrong decission. Life and fortune meet you whereever you are.

Yesterday evening we had the wonderful possibility to listen to world class music. Being a friend of the family Uchima, Masayuki Kino gave a concert during their stay at Allanton together with his co-violinist Takahiro Gorai.

Photo Exhibition about Civil Courage

In march we got into a fotoshooting of German photographer Beba Ilic by chance. Now our photos and a text of mine is part of a Pop Up Exhibition in Hagen, Germany. Soon a book about the project #hinsehen (to have a look) which is about civil courage will be published with all the photos and texts.

The last four days our AGA Stove at the place where we are staying was "kaput". Today an engineer could fix it. Just a small fuse that had to be exchanged. Hopefully we are having a warm home again, when the AGA has heated up till tonight.

To get some things done on the internet we have recently been to Dumfries sometimes with the bus. A friendly small town, which is the biggest of the region Dumfries and Galloway. Scotlands Poet Robert Burns was living here until his death.
